Benign Hyperplasia: Prostate Gland Enlargement

The prostate gland produces seminal fluid. It is a growth and transport medium for sperm cells

An enlarged prostate gland, the so-called benign hyperplasia, is observed in men over fifty years of age.

The prostate gland encircles the top part of the urethra. As the prostate enlarges, it gradually presses the urethra. This pressure causes difficulty in urinating, which is a typical symptom of an enlarged prostate. The urinary disorders are characterized by the frequent urge to urinate by day as well as by night, a weakened urine stream, and the inability to empty the bladder completely. Weakened potency is often observed. Disregard of these symptoms can result in urinary tract infections and bladder stone formation.

The solution to this problem requires an integrated approach: normalization of the testosterone and estrogen balance, diet low in animal fat and rich in fruit and vegetables, normalization of blood cholesterol, heavy metals release, quitting bad habits, especially smoking, active lifestyle, except for cycling, as well as consumption of specifically designed formulations with micro- and macroelements, phytonutrients, and useful vegetable oils that can slow down or even reduce the symptoms of this disease.

Most of the formulations specifically designed for men include vitamins E, C, D3, K2, minerals (selenium, magnesium, and copper), phytonutrients (Beta-Sitosterol and lycopene), pumpkin seed extract, serenoa fruit extract, extracts of nettle and pomegranate, as well as flaxseed extract.

The specifically designed men's health formulations with vegetable oils include oils from the argan tree fruit and sesame fruit, walnut oil, pumpkin seed oil, and flaxseed oil. They contain a large amount of Alpha-Linolenic Acid and phytosterols.
